Review
If you have a lot with the Windows API, you might have noticed that the win32api.txt shipped with VB is totally outdated. The file is based on the Windows 95 header files, and the development of Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows ME and Windows XP have been many new functions. If you want to use these functions, you may want to seek it on the Internet, but this is very time-consuming and maybe you can have what you are looking for not only finding.
ApiViewer 2004 is a replacement for Microsoft's API viewer. The database has been tested with the latest Windows XP header files are created, that means access to over 6500 functions and constants 55000!. The Win32api.txt contains approximately 1500 features and 5000 constants. So, why not simply give us an updated version of win32api.txt out? You will perhaps not believe, but Microsoft's API Viewer crashes with an overflow error when you tried the new file to load. |
